Introduction to Photography Composition

I am taking a class in photography composition.  Our homework this week is to take one photo as a snapshot and then take another as a photograph.  Here are my attempts.
This is my snapshot photo.

Here starts my attempt to take photographs.

I like how in this one above you can see the different colors of the sky in a rainbow formation.
Also, I like the flow the photo.  The corn stalk takes my eyes up then fall downs the "rainbow" to the ground which takes my eyes back to the corn stalk.

I tried using fill in flash here because through my viewfinder the corn stalk looked really dark.  I didn't bring my flash along so all I had was my on camera flash.

I love the sun peaking through the corn stalk.

I like this one too.  I am drawn to the ones with the sun looking so bright.

Hit and Run Accident

On June 8th, 2017 I was out for my morning bike ride.  Approximately 7:45 AM on Hwy PF just outside of Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin I was hit by a truck.  It was a hit and run accident.  The above photo shows my bike at the scene.

In this zoomed in photo you can see the point of impact which is the fracture of the wheel.

The day after the accident Channel 3000 news came to do an interview.  You can see the interview HERE.

My hat and Me!

I love my hats!  I only get to wear them for religious occasions, though.  This hat was my Aunt Teri's.  I loved it so much she gave it to me.  Here I am practicing how I was going to wear my hair with the hat, that's why I am a hoodie on.

Sunday, May 14th was my nephew's confirmation.  Here I am posing with my hat.  I do like photos that only shows the hat and a little bit of my face.

Submission for Magnolia Design Team

Once upon a time on my old blog, which no longer works, I was very active with stamping.  I was once a design team member for a stamping company.  My time with them ended and off I went on other adventures.  I recently began, however, stamping again in a different way.  I have been enjoying making mail art which is decorating envelopes into mini pieces of art.  I also love the Tilda stamps from Magnolia Stamps.  I began coloring again using my copic markers and fell in love all over again with the stamps and markers.  So, Magnolia team, here is my submission.  I am also including two other stamps I colored.  I see I didn't color the flowers on the Japanese girl, but I don't think that takes away from her at all.  A huge thank you to my fellow Dork Sister, Peggysue, for telling me of the DT call.

I made a sign and used that as the place for the address and drew in a river, some trees and tufts of grass.

I added some flowers and yellow pollen.  The stamps also become part of the art as I try to match either colors or themes with the envelope.
