Bolero

I am making this bolero for myself to wear over my dress for son #3's first holy communion.

Home made hair conditioner

I found a home made hair conditioner recipe that I thought I would try.  I had 2/3 of the ingredients at home so I figured, why not?

2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tbsp shea butter
1 tsp argan oil (I didn't have any so I substituted olive oil)

Whip together.
work cream into hair.
leave on for 20-30 minutes.
Wash out with shampoo and then use conditioner.

Here's me taking a selfie with my iPad in Ziggy's Classroom before school.

Ziggy, a vertically challenged friend, stood on a chair to take these.

I was all ready to chop my hair again because the ends were looking so bad.
I think the conditioner worked really nice for my hair.
I warn you though, it is really heavy especially on my fine, thin hair.  I won't be able to put this on more than 1x a month or every other month.

This last one she told me to stick my butt out!

Fingerless gloves

A friend had given me this kit to make mittens.  I chose to do a k2, p2 ribbing for the cuff and decided to make them into fingerless gloves instead of mittens.  You can see the start of the second glove at the top of the picture.
